 Field Information 

The Fairground strip is a private, invitation-only, off-airport strip. 

Tiedown points (blocks) will be provided but tie down ropes and chocks will not be. – NO ground stakes allowed due to electrical below the ground. 

Length 

1,500’ x 150’ dirt/gravel, good condition 

Obstacles 

Trees, polls, and power lines on both approach ends.

Palmer Tower: 118.7 (required with 5NM of PAAQ 9am-5pm Friday-Sunday) 

Fairgrounds Advisory 126.6 (must make contact before Landing)

Arrival/Departure 

Arrival times 

Please plan your arrival during the designated time windows. We will not have 

adequate personnel to routinely provide safe separation between pedestrians, exhibitors, 

vehicles, and late arriving aircraft that might all be moving on the fairgrounds at the same time. 

Arrival/Departure Times 

Friday, May 1st Static display aircraft arrival, may arrive between 11am-1pm based on where you will be parked. 

Saturday, May 2nd show and shine arrival 9am-10am. When you arrive, you must stop just past the gate and wait for wing walkers to park you (No aircraft may operate inside the fairground gate without wing walkers). Departure will start After 5PM. You must have permission to start up for departure. 

Sunday, May 3rd Previous coordination needed for arriving aircraft.

Arrival/Departure Time Deviations. 

l will work with deviation requests as much as possible, but nothing is guaranteed for arrivals. As for departing early you must coordinate with me, and we will need to push you to the gate (NO aircraft may operate inside the fair during the event)
